Self-care is anything we do to take care of our self so we can stay physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually well. It is not from a place of selfishness, where the focus is on “me, myself and I”. But from a place that says I cannot serve others effectively if I do not care for myself.
Self-care activities for you to choose, make it a lifestyle.
1) Practice deep breathing exercises – breathing in deeply hold your breath to the count of four or longer if you can and slowly release it; Or do 25 deep breaths every morning while brushing your teeth or tie this to a routine.
